Millions in Bangladesh are Impacted by Floods

Nearly 5 million people are impacted by the floods in Bangladesh, and at least 18 people have been killed – but there are fears that number could rise much higher as the flood waters recede.

​

Feni a city in southeast Bangladesh, is described as the epicenter of one of the country’s worst floods. Water has inundated 11 districts, and nearly 1.5 million people’s homes are now submerged.

​

In response to this emergency, LIFE is providing food, bottled water, hygiene kits, blankets and bedding to families displaced by the floods.
