In Gaza, the LIFE team has shown remarkable strength and adaptability. Through key local and international partnerships, we are effectively providing essential nourishment, medical care, and shelter, making a significant positive impact during these crucial times.

Your Help Matters 

 

This past year in Gaza, our 30 years of field experience, extensive network, and ability to overcome obstacles, along with the support of our donors, have enabled us to accomplish so much. To date, LIFE has provided:   

 

• Nourished over 61,153 individuals with hot meals and food baskets. 

• Provided 46,410 families with essential hygiene kits. 

• Delivered 2,600 blankets and 7,200 water bottles to civilians in need. 

• Brightened the lives of 1,400 children with the gift of toys and children packs. 

• Supplied over 11 million liters of fresh water to communities. 

• Supported 17,500 families with fresh vegetables. 

• Provided flour to 359,000 people to meet their nutritional needs. 

• Sheltered 7,000 individuals with tents and winter clothes. 

• Installed solar panels to bring renewable energy to 7,000 people. 

• Constructed 23 latrines to improve sanitation. 

• Hosted a Global Orphans Party for 1,000 children. 

• Supported three hospitals with a fleet of 15 medical supply trucks.

Urgent Appeal for Shelter 

 

Nearly 2 million displaced persons in Gaza require shelter, and we are mobilizing to provide 100,000 winterized tents. Sourced from Turkey, these fully waterproof tents measure 4m x 4m and cost $400 each. For logistical efficiency, we're shipping them in containers, each holding 250 tents at $100,000 per container. Our target is to deliver 400 containers to address this critical need in Gaza.
