In September, 2018 brackish contaminated water was pumped into homes in Basrah Iraq causing a critical shortage of clean drinking water.
Thousands of families were suffering from a lack of clean water for drinking and cooking. Life distributed 20 gallon bottles of emergency water to 3000 families in Basrah during the water crisis.
