Life is often filled with hardship and suffering for poor people, especially displaced refugees living in Sub-Saharan African countries. With hardships like conflict, famine, economic restrictions and poverty, millions of displaced persons and refugees are struggling to survive. To help alleviate some of this turmoil, Life for Relief and Development distributed food boxes to 5,110 individuals in Somalia, Sudan and Ethiopia during the holy month of Ramadan. Inside the food baskets were items such as rice, cooking oil, flour, lentils and dates.
