Life for Relief and Development sent a 40 – foot container of medicines, medical supplies and equipment to Rufisque, Senegal hospitals and medical centers. The items were shipped from the USA to Dakar, Senegal at the end of August 2018. The container arrived and was transported to Rufisque, Senegal which is approximately 30 miles from Dakar for distribution.
The medical supplies, equipment and medicines were distributed in the following locations:
Centre de Sante de Rufisque
Centre Policlinic de Rufisque
Poste de Sante de Rufisque
Diabetic patients associations
Association of disabled people of Rufisque (wheelchairs, canes etc)
The recipients in all 5 centers were very happy to receive the donation to be used for the poor and needy patients within the community of Rufisque.
