Life’s 2019 Ramadan program was very successful. Food baskets distributed to 930,989 beneficiaries in 19 countries and Iftar meals provided to 40,950 displaced, refugee, orphans, widows and needy families in the last 10 days of Ramadan. The total number of individual beneficiaries of food this Ramadan was 971,939.
With the help of our donors, Ramadan food was distributed in the following countries:
Afghanistan – Food baskets distributed to 29,064 beneficiaries and Iftar meals served to 40,000 individuals in 10 villages
Bangladesh – Food baskets distributed to 68,750 beneficiaries
Bosnia - Food baskets distributed to 4,300 beneficiaries
Ethiopia – Food baskets distributed to 3,420 beneficiaries
Ghana – Food baskets distributed to 93,600 beneficiaries
Haiti – Food baskets distributed to 17,000 beneficiaries
India - Food baskets distributed to 9,135 beneficiaries
Iraq – Food baskets distributed to 145,920 beneficiaries
Kenya - Food baskets distributed to 16,500 beneficiaries
Lebanon - Food baskets distributed to 28,260 beneficiaries
Pakistan – Food baskets distributed to 20,000 beneficiaries
Palestine – Food baskets distributed to 91,000 beneficiaries in the West Bank and Gaza and Iftar meals served to 950 people at Masjid Al-Aqsa
Senegal – Food baskets distributed to 25,000 beneficiaries
Sierra Leone – Food baskets distributed to 36,250 beneficiaries
Somalia - Food baskets distributed to 21,000 beneficiaries
Syria - Food baskets distributed to 143,710 beneficiaries
Uganda - Food baskets distributed to 24,000 beneficiaries
USA – Food baskets distributed to 63,000 beneficiaries
Yemen - Food baskets distributed to 91,080 beneficiaries
