Life’s Ramadan program was one of the most successful in its history feeding over 1 million individuals. Life’s staff and partners distributed food baskets to 1,004,112 beneficiaries and hosted Iftar meals for 31,400 displaced, refugee, orphans, widows and needy families in 20 countries. The total number of individual beneficiaries of food this Ramadan was 1,035,512.
With the help of our donors, we successfully implemented Ramadan food programs in the following countries:
Afghanistan – Food baskets distributed to 29,400 beneficiaries and Iftar meals served to 20,000 individuals in 10 villages
Bangladesh – Food baskets distributed to 35,000 beneficiaries
Egypt – Food baskets distributed to 84,120 beneficiaries
Ghana – Food baskets distributed to 36,000 beneficiaries
Haiti – Food baskets distributed to 30,000 beneficiaries
India - Food baskets distributed to 52,500 beneficiaries
Iraq – Food baskets distributed to 192,000 beneficiaries
Jordan - Food baskets distributed to 47,592 beneficiaries
Kenya - Food baskets distributed to 10,150 beneficiaries
Lebanon - Food baskets distributed to 28,140 beneficiaries
Pakistan – Food baskets distributed to 45,000 beneficiaries
Palestine – Food baskets distributed to 40,750 beneficiaries in the West Bank and Gaza and Iftar meals served to 3,600 people the last 10 days of Ramadan at Masjid Al-Aqsa
Senegal – Food baskets distributed to 25,000 beneficiaries
Sierra Leone – Food baskets distributed to 35,000 beneficiaries
Somalia - Food baskets distributed to 32,550 beneficiaries
Sudan - Food baskets distributed to 55,000 beneficiaries
Syria - Food baskets distributed to 88,480 beneficiaries and Iftar meals served to 1500 individuals
Uganda - Food baskets distributed to 5,250 beneficiaries and Iftar meals served to 6300 individuals
USA – Food baskets distributed to 60,000 beneficiaries and Iftar meals served to 6300 individuals
Yemen - Food baskets distributed to 72,180 beneficiaries
