The Syrian conflict that has been going on since March of 2011 has brought devastation to the people of Syria, leaving hundreds of thousands of families deceased, displaced and without the vital necessitates needed to live. After a rise in bombings, tens of thousands of civilians have fled from Syria into several countries such as Turkey, Jordan and Iraq.
The staff of Life for Relief and Development took action by providing 400 cartons of food and 400 bags of cleaning materials to 400 Syrian families in the Bardarash camp in Duhok Governorate, located in the Kurdistan region of Iraq. Each carton of supplies consisted of 23 various food and cleaning items per family. The staff of Life was pleased to help the Syrian refugees in Iraq, who have been displaced from their homes, with little or nothing to survive on.
