In Partnership with the Baylor Irving Hospital, Irving Police Department, Irving School District and Irving Waste Management Department, Life for Relief and Development initiated “Taking Care of Those Who Take Care of the Community.” In early May, 500 meals were donated to the Baylor Irving Hospital, pizza boxes donated to the Irving Police Department for 500 people, 500 lunch boxes and 300 sweet boxes donated to the Irving School District, pizza boxes for 100 people donated to the Irving Waste Management Department and 120 Family Iftar Boxes were donated to virtual iftar participants’ homes. Life has been one of the 20 sponsor organizations that came together to take care of the community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
